Rack Monitoring Across Your Network
SP2 is a small but powerful Ethernet device that enables you to monitor your rack environments remotely via your network.
Supplied with a temperature sensor as standard, the SP2 can easily be installed and configured to quickly become your 'eyes and ears' inside your critical racks.
The SP2 has two 'auto-detect' sensor ports, which can be used with any of the following optional sensors:
- 2nd Temperature sensor
- Humidity sensor
- Water detector - supplied with 3m water leak detection cable
- Security sensor - for rack door monitoring
- Voltage detector - provides alarm when power is not present
- Airflow sensor - monitors presence of airflow from rack fan or airrotection air conditioning unit
- Dry contact interface sensor - for connection to UPS, air systems conditioner, fan - fault, etc.
All sensors can be supplied with 4m or 18m cable lengths. This allows a single SP2 to monitor status conditions in two racks or even room conditions if required.
The SP2 can be monitored via a web browser interface, and high/low thresholds can be configured for temperature and humidity alarms. SP2 can also send SMTP email alerts when alarms are detected.
